Real World Electrical Safety for Everyday Risks
Built for the realities of energised electrical installations, our training focuses on the electrical hazards faced by electricians and engineers.
We deliver practical courses led by experienced professionals that strengthen understanding, safe work practices, and effective risk management.
Courses we offer
Provides a foundation in electrical safety principles for working with or around energised electrical installations. This course covers key hazards, risk controls, and safe work concepts to support informed decision‑making and safe behaviours in electrical environments.
Develops the skills needed to read and interpret common electrical drawings and documentation. Participants learn to identify equipment, circuits, protection, and interfaces critical to understanding system design and electrical risk.
Focuses on the principles and practical application of isolation, lock‑out and tag‑out. The course addresses planning, verification, and human factors to support the safe establishment of electrically safe work conditions.
Examines the causes and consequences of arc flash incidents and how risk can be effectively managed. Participants learn to recognise arc flash hazards, apply controls, and understand the role of procedures, PPE, and system design.
Provides high level awareness of high voltage systems and associated risks. The course covers HV concepts, safe approach distances, access controls, and responsibilities when working near or around high‑voltage installations.
